i agree.
i honestly do not understand what is wrong with people being gay. it is who they are and nothing should prevent them from being themselves in this matter, especially the government.
i am straight, but being gay is not necessarily a choice. and it is not a sin either. anyone who thinks it is can live a heterosexual lifestyle without impacting/hurting those who are gay.-

I really don't get the point of the whole debate.
What has your sexual orientation got to do with your position in society, your rights?
As long as being homosexual or heterosexual doesn't affect other people, as long as you don't try to influence anyone in a negative way - what's the point?! -
According to the Chicago City Attorney gays, lesbians, and transgender people are not people and not covered by the constitution or the Bill of Rights. Isn't that lovely.

I didn't know that... Damn dumb. How does he justify his position?!
What I also don't understand is how all the Christians can refer to the Bible when they say God didn't "speak" of homosexuals. Some people don't seem to understand that there really are parts of the Bible that have been influenced by the writers and are not inspired by God himself. -
Here is another bright young woman who paid attention in school, and probably read The Constitution. She and other young people like her are the future of our country. Why do our leaders not listen to their wisdom on these matters?
With or without realizing it, lib basically quoted the 14th Amendment, ratified in 1868, and which tells us what it means to be an American: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
Last I checked, EVEN homosexuals are, in fact, citizens, persons, and therefore subject to equal protection as guaranteed by The Constitution. -
i agree with you.. everybody got to chose who they want to marry and how they wnat to spend their time on earth..

People should get to live the way they want, even if that means being homosexual? People should get to do whatever they want? That is not logical. Life as a law involves community, and in order to have a healthy community people cannot merely do whatever they want, they must do that which supports (or brings vitality) to the community.

I agree ... live and let live for everyone ... especially in America, but don't forget about the responsibility that working parents (regardless of social orientation) have.

Forgot to mention skin colour but, I still agree with you. & no I'm not just talking about Blacks, because I am myself, I'm just saying, everyone of colour, & anyone imaginable.
