  • Are we humans ever going to wake up? When are we going to stop horse racing, dog racing, boxing, and UFC fighting? All this stuff is holdover from the Roman era. Do we still commute in chariots? OK, then. Let's get with the times.

  • My thoughts exactly Rob. I quit watching sports of any kind years ago. The Olympics are a good example. The abusive training schedules, the cheating, the drugs. Go watch little kids soccer practice, or little league. It's not for fun or sport. It's for competition. In Texas and I can imagine elsewhere parents will keep a small child out of school an extra couple of years, then make them obese so they will be bigger for football. They don't have pickup games of baseball strictly for fun anymore. It doesn't look like much fun being a kid in today's world. Horse and dog racing are some of the more civalized animal sports. Dog and Chicken fighting some of the worst.
