Queen Rania of Jordan.
International style icon---voted one of the most stylish women in the world by 'Vanity Fair'.
Philanthropic - her tireless work with all manner of international charities and organizations is awe-inspiring.
Beauty and brains - she's got them both in absolute spades.
Too bad she's already married. And I mean, what's her dude got on me---he's JUST, like, a king. Whatever. *smile*

Quite a lady!According to Wikipedia, her parents are Palestinian, she was born in Kuwait, and she worked for Apple and Citibank after finishing college in Egypt.
1993 was a busy year for Rania! She met her hubby in January, got engaged in March, and was married in June.
Oh, and she was a July 2007 covergirl for Vanity Fair. Not bad! -
I saw her at the Time 100 party this year and she was beautiful.

She is also the co-chair of FINCA's Village Banking Campaign
"In addition to her role as Co-Chair of FINCA's Village Banking Campaign, Her Majesty is a member of FINCA's Board of Directors. Among the advocacy efforts in which Her Majesty has engaged:
-Testifying before the House Foreign Relations Committee to encourage passage of the Micro Enterprise for Self-Reliance Act of 2001, which supports the institutional development of programs providing credit, saving facilities, insurance, business training and other services vital to the success of poor entrepreneurs;
-Launching the Global Endowment for the Poor, an initiative designed to create a revolving pool of loan capital to serve the needs of poor people, mostly women, throughout the world; and
-Announcing the start-up of FINCAs Afghanistan program in 2002, now one of FINCA's most successful programs."
that's one woman who definitely deserves admiration.

She's also very active fighting honour killings, in which the perpetrators traditionally get barely a slap on the wrists.
