the underwater footage is amazing! It opens in theaters on November 2nd! If you are as fascinated by sharks as I am you wont want to miss this!

The movie's webpageWith all kinds of info - on the film, on sharks, etc. etc.
I am respectfully terrified of sharks. The ocean is their home, when I'm on a surfboard, I look like their food, and I totally get why they might want to take a taste. I did a project in 8th grade on sharks and how our cycle of killing sharks after an attack has negative repercussions across the ocean eco-system... Being scared of sharks doesn't mean we should kill loads of them! -
I have seen the film and yes, the underwater stuff is amazing. All the other stuff is sub-par. The narration is overdone and silly. The points that are made in the film are never fully documented. The chronology of the film seems forced and staged. The effort to shock and outrage the audience is painful and transparent. And everything out of the water is poorly shot and less interesting. It is a noble cause and I truly believe that there needs to be some sort of global effort to protect them, but this film is not what convinced me of that.

you know what, i just went to the premiere last night and i agree with NoShow. Great message, but way too long and gratuitous to say the least in VO and personal backstory.
