Permaculture expert Penny Livingston-Stark shows how natural systems can teach us better design practices. Learning to work with the earth not only creates a healthier environment, it also nourishes the people who live in it.

cool vid...just wondering, is that a leather jacket she's wearing?? as far as i know, most leather is highly unsustainable - it comes from India where the sacred cows are bought and death-marched to a tannery. what a poor use of such a productive animal! go permaculture - leave out the leather. even if it IS a hand-me-down, it sends a message that leather is ok - even cool! If you can stomach it, check out "Earthlings"

permaculture is a topic area that needs more video coverage. this piece was done well, but i hope to see more "instructional" videos out there to help people who canʻt afford to attend expensive permaculture institutes.
keep sharing the wisdom!-
