Man, that was awful.

We didn't even get to see them play. Were they that bad? They kicked me and my friend out for smoking IN THE SMOKING SECTION (really) and wouldn't let us back in. And I totally smashed my shin on an impossible to see ledge by the dance floor.

this was a TOTAL BUST... RSVP my butt. A waste of time to go wait in a line with 300 other people. I was definitely disappointed. But not disheartened! Went seeking more dancing...

@joebrilliant: Oh, haha, I typed that as soon as I got home. I didn't see anyone play either. I arrived late and was helping myself to the door, skipping the real line and going to the VIP line, when the freaking Fire Chief showed up. Seriously. Cops went in ahead of him to "get a headcount."
The venue's employees looked completely stricken and panicked, but they were also super apologetic. I felt kind of terrible for them. I think most of the media list ended up ditching Fat City for Zeitgeist, which was totally hoppin'. -
that line was RIDICULOUS. my friends and i went to wish bar instead.
