Sideshow stunt shuts down freeway Interstate 880

An Oakland car club sideshow stunt shut down Interstate 880 between Oakland and San Jose in the San Francisco Bay Area over the weekend. Best part about it, they posted the evidence on MySpace and bragged about it. Its only a matter of time before the California Highway Patrol catches up to them http://i.current.com/images/spacer.gif

  • I looked, and I couldn't find anything in the news about this. Was the road closed for the sideshow? It looks like traffic in the other direction was normal, ie: not cleared. Were there normal drivers on the road when the show started? What the heck did they do?! Did anyone get hurt?

  • There is nothing on the local news about this though Im sure CHP is aware of what happened. Had there been injuries, it would have made the local news at the very least.

  • This is why black people these days wind up poor- cause they spend all their money on crappy cars, and then pull stunts that put a strain on every mechanical part.

    Congrats on getting away- but I must admit, I can't wait until your licenses, cars, and driving privledges are taken away. If I were the judge, I'd throw you in jail for 3 months. You've put peoples lives at risk, costed taxpayers money, wasted people's time, and showed an utter lack of respect for public domain- which is OUR roads and land, not just yours to play around illegally on.
