why do you decide to get information here rather than corporate media?

It's not either or. I get news from this site as well as CNN, NYT, WaPo and other outlets.

I like the variety of 'current' topics found on this website but also I do feel the corporate media is out of touch with the majority of Americans. They put their own spin on stories and I frankly don't believe a lot of what they spin, especially in the political arena. Thoughtful question.
