Ike tried to warn us, I wonder if he really believed his predictions would come true so quickly. His warnings cannot be repeated enough.

  • Sounds like President Eisenhower was a very wise man. Very effective video clip. Another reason, I believe, Al Gore should run for President in the 2008 election.

  • He knew exactly what would happen. Ike had to deal with them before they got a firm hold on the country. Now they are on steroids. Doesn't anyone remember Prescott Bush? He was a war profiteer that helped Hitler's Nazis. Got caught and the government confiscated his money. The part that wasn't stashed overseas. Looks like the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I wonder if the media had told this to the public if people would have voted for GHW or GW Bush?

    The story of Prescott is very interesting to be sure. Even before him, the Bush family (Prescott Sr.) made quite a bit of money.... selling bullets. I bring this up to even my most liberal friends and they dismiss it saying his family history is not relevant. Are you kidding me?

    The book "The Immaculate Deception" is one of my favorite on the subject. Fascinating. It's also nearly certain Prescott Sr. robbed Geronimo's skull. I mean... it's amazing.

  • Family History is very important. Someone said you are a product of your environment. There is more truth than fiction in that. I love reading Bush history, they are money grubbing crooks. EVIL

  • When our leaders warn us and we ignore the warning - we get the worst result. Bush and Cheney's recent words warn us that Iran is next. Let us not ignore the warning - speak out and tell your representatives not to support another preemptive strike. As to the Military Industrial Complex we goofed and it owns K Street. Therefore, we need tell our representatives to support legislation that limits the power of the lobbies and increases the influences of our citizens. Such legislation would assure lobbiest bribes are unacceptable and illegal in any of its many forms and would instate campaign reform that eliminates all private financing and changes, standardizes and regulates elections such that every single vote across this nation counts and is counted. Then the Military Industrial Complex will go off with its tail between its legs - forever.
