  • Um does anyone else have any issues with pre teen girls dancing to "Superman that ho"? The Barney and Lion King remixes are hexa funny, but actual kids? Hate to hate on the parade, but seriously....

  • Why isn't there more dancing in schools? I would have loved to do hip hop dance instead of PE. That kid in front is really good and is clearly having a great time.

Joe, if all the hit pop songs are obscene, how are you going to keep kids from dancing to them? I was more put out by the video that was circulating a while ago of the 3-year-old boy singing "my humps;" that was just mean.

  • For tha youngstas, Bartman > Soulja Boy
@ eray. Absolutely, it's all subjective and is part of a much wider discussion on the hypocrisy of "values" we have in this country. But basically I just think kids of this age should being doing the Bartman (which Diplo has officially made cool again), not Supermanning that Ho.

Innocence has never had a shorter half life than it does today, and so I'd just like to see kids stay kids as long they're, well, still kids.

  • I don't have an issue with these kids dancing hiphop (yay dancing kids!), but I do have a problem with them going home humming the lyrics. When I was 9 my sister took away my newly-bought Purple Rain album because she thought I was too young for it. I guess I have her to thank for not letting me go to school singing "Darling Nikki."

Kinda reminds me of when Dave Chappelle (was it Chappelle?) who talked about the women in the clubs dancing and singing along to the Ying Yang Twins song with the lyrics, "To the windows/To the walls /till the sweat rolls down my balls/till all these females crawl."

Like, girl are you HEARING THIS?

  • Worth while hip-hip Vs. Soulja Boy
Rappers like Soulja Boy are ruining hip hop/rap's name by "dumbing it down" to a retarded level. They're also muddying up the minds of poor innocent children that don't know what they are idolizing when singing dancing to it.

This is a very cute video, but this one is better.

  • @ joe- since spiderman and superman live in different comic worlds, i'm thinking spiderman would be safe to change it up a bit and spiderman that spiderwoman.

  • That kid up front is spazzing out to impress the girls.... he needs to chill!

I see the issue with kids dancing to this stuff (especially young kids) but I have no idea how you could control it. And Chapelle was especially referencing the "We all skeet skeet skeet" refrain of Lil Jon's track.... which is a euphemism for ejaculate. fwiw...

  • My sister had one little dude in her ballet class, he's now a successful clothing designer.
