A gender-bending view of the world from the San Francisco Trans March.
The March is a protest against the violence and discrimination faced by the trans community and a celebration of their strength and spirit. We asked everybody at the march 'How do you define your gender'. You may be surprised at the variety of answers.
In memory of Gwen Araujo, Ruby Ordenana, Tony 'Delicious' Green, Michelle Eddie Lee, Tyra Hunter, and all those whose lives are threatened by homophobia.

you go to this Maxwell hotel in downtown SF and there is a lunchcart next door open all night...in the back of the building there is a famous turd produced by Allan Ginsberg that is notirized by the city as a cultural attraction..some go and puke, other wants to grab part of it and take the shit home...it is like one of those episodes when Picasso drew his picture on a little boy's back when kid's parents asked the great artist to leave an authograph for their son...later , the poor kid didn't get a shower for months...anything goes when you're cool and imaginative...that is why I personally grant to SF the crown of the sane part of the U.S
