well I voted that I supported this view ... but I have an issue about the comment of "flaunting" sexuality ... I guess it depends on what you mean by that. If you mean hand-holding, a smooch on the cheek or mouth, then I disagree with you. That is not "flaunting" ... if you're talking about total make-out sessions and groping, then I fully agree. I don't like to see that with straight or gay people. There's a place for that, and public is not the place.
