    but Bush and Martial law, I think this was in the news for a second. There wasn't a whole lot of coverage though.

  • I think the most important one (and I know I'm setting myself up...how can anyone say one is more important than another?) is the lack of evidence tying Osama to the events of 9/11. And I say 'EVENTS' for a reason. It has never been proven that the United States was attacked. And based on these 'events', the United States is now involved in TWO wars (for some reason, Afghanistan just doesn't get the press that Iraq does, which is strange considering that it's a FRIGGIN' WAR). But the mainstream media, hell, NOBODY has ever tried to prove or disprove(that would be unpatriotic) any of the accepted "facts" as to what occured, and by who, on 9/11.

  • These stories are so important if for no other reason than to demonstrate to people that we aren't getting the news. Many, not all I've seen before. Not on the television news, or a newspaper. Because I realize we aren't getting the news and I dig around on the Internet. I read British Newspapers, Listen to Air America, Watch Go Left.TV and find as much as I can. Our news sources are shameful, and dangerous.

  • Why am I not suprised? This is disgusting. We have departed from our National identity, and we are well on our way to becoming a fascist police state. I am angry not just with this administration, or the government that has developed since the last century. I am most angry at US, the people, who have allowed this to happen. We sit back and live our "happy" (yeah, right) lives, too busy to be bothered with reality, rights, or principles of any kind. Go to your local Jr. College and take a globalization class. You'll learn all too much about how this country works, and how we are riding the poorest citizens in the world in order to keep our place at the top. It's disgusting, and we know about it, and we ignore it. We SUCK! Start taking action now. Right to your local representatives and sentators, but also right to the speaker of the house, nancy pelosi. http://www.speaker.gov. ASK HER TO IMPEACH. TELL HER IT NEEDS TO BE ON THE TABLE. SEND HER QUOTES, LINKS, AND EVIDENCE THAT CANNOT BE DENIED!!! We are in a national coma, and that's just where they want us. WAKE UP!

  • Most of the answers I hear when I get to the end of all the depressing books I have been reading about this....say stay involved, tell other people, be part of the dialogue...write letters etc. Everything we are doing....
    But it is beginning to feel hopeless. If America would just wake up we would not be outmanned. But we are clearly outside of the sphere of real influence. I don't see many listening to us. Yet why do you think so many politicians have taken the time to make their posts here...even if they don't engage in a dialogue?

  • We can't give up. We have to apply heavy pressure on the wimps we elected to protect us. Put the White House on speed dial. MAKE THOSE CALLS. Go get valid e-mail for all Senate and House members. Spam them. Look up the zip codes for their area and use them so they will pay attention to your letters. Participate in every demonstration you can. Send a little money to groups working on the problems and the candidates you support. Work against the ones you don't. Don't make threats, or you will end up in jail with no habeas corpus. It was resended the same day as Posse Comitatus. We don't dare give up the deep stuff is knee high.
