PETE DOHERTY has apologised to his fans and doctors – after admitting to injecting heroin when he was claiming to be drug free.

Yesterday The Sun showed shocking footage of Pete taking the killer drug at his home last Friday, after arriving back from the MTV Awards.

  • I think it is a shameful thing for the Sun to attack Pete. Yes, I agree he is a horrible role model for young people. I am sure he would concur. The problem is that he is a drug addict, which is a disease that is hard to cure. He needs help that is for sure and I think he agrees with that. However, I think that the way the media approaches his addiction and other's is horrible. I think we would all be better off if the media would take a more compassionate stance on addiction in general. Pete is not a horrible person for being an addict, he is just a sick person.
