I love how they're picketing because it shows that the actors care too. How do you feel about it?

.i feel like this -
i thinks its wonderful. the actors are getting cuts out of the online/dvd distribution but they SHOULD care about the writers because they are essentially providing these actors with jobs and a script to work with.

I think it is amazing that the actors are getting involved. I do my part everymoring and honk for them as I drive by the studios. I would understand if they were asking for an astronomical percentage from these new media formats, but I think they are asking for a fair amount. Stand strong writers....stand strong!

I'm 100% behind the writers on this one. In my fantasy world I still think of myself as a writer so I feel as if I'm fighting with them, except for this whole "daily job" thing gets in the way.
I'm all for the actors getting in there and showing support, but keep in mind that SAG is up for renegotiations in 2008 and they will be fighting for the same online distribution proceed rights that the writers are fighting for now. Really the writers were just the first ones to have their contract negotiations come around and so they are the ones that must lay the ground work for all the other unions that are to follow in the next 2 years.
Go writers. Win this one for the Gipper! -
Well, it's not that we couldn't live without those stupid TV shows.
