  • From a young age, watching nature shows from the Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, to Jacque Costo and other public television programming, I realized that our society did not operate within the ecological system of the planet.

    I also realized that not doing so meant we were in conflict with and even destructive to the environment.

    Whether one believes in global warming or not, it is certain that we are not going to win a battle of wills with mother nature, and that we are not omnipotent to handle what she has in store for us if we don't humble ourselves and fall in line.

    Thank you Al Gore for bringing this to our "international" attention.

  • He's been a 10 with me for twenty years. Congratulations to you Mr. Gore, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing the most crucial challenge of this and the next generation into the mainstream where it should have been thirty years ago.
    And to Voyager FIlms, amen. I used to watch Mutual Of Omaha's Wild Kingdom as well, but Nova with Carl Sagan did it for me. I do not believe we will ever have peace within our world until we have peace within ourselves.
