Ms. Noonan aptly explains why, as much as I would love to have a woman in the White House, Hillary is not that woman. She is neither strong enough nor woman enough for the job.

Oh sure! Aptly? Such as using analogies like what Margaret Thatcher ordered for dinner? Yes, to a simpleton or to some bellicose redneck who describes himself as a 'compassionate conservative', reading something as revealing as Thatcher's ordering beef for dinner would be a great indicator of some Cheney-like mental illness that would have us attacking every country with a government that didn't like the U.S. ----------- OF COURSE Noonan, who was a Reagan speechwriter and former employee would pick on a comment like that and use something as frivolous as Margaret Thatcher's taste for beef as some kind of LEGITIMATE indicator of female leadership ability.--------. How quaint Looney Nooney is as she uses most of the Murdoch-owned paper's op-ed piece to set up her goofy analogy.---------.Noonan, once a semi-credible writer, has of late, been given to writing superlatives about Reagan who was himself teetering on the edge of impeachment for the Iran Contra affair as he left office. ----------- . I just love it when Sean Insanity greets Reagan's accomplice, Oliver North, by saying, "You're a great American."--------. Somehow, Noonan's credibility has gone the way of that "Slam Dunk" evidence promised by George Tenet. ------- Ah, but minutia can be a powerful persuader when there is nothing else with which to compare it.--------Why not try to find something a bit more suustantive than a poorly-conceived op-ed piece to make your case - - It reminds me too much of the borderline intlligence of those whosupport a president that in 7 years has yet to learn how to speak intelligently. I am literally embarrassd every time Bush uses the word 'Nookular' or laments the fact that "thousands of doctors are unable to practice thier love with women...."------Of course, it doesn't take much to hold the attention of a 'conservative' - especially one who screams about Democrats and "Tax and Spend" when his own President has proven to have been the most fiscally liberal president in U.S. history.------. Perhaps Noonan's op-ed piece belongs in the 'funnies' along with Bush's 'compassionate conservatism'!--------- It WOULD be funny if the debt he's saddled future generations with weren't so incomprehensible. ---- Oh, and let's not forget the "penny wise and pound foolish" way Bush vetoed the SCHIP bill while his disastrous war and policies in the middle east are responsible for the $15 per barrel "terror upcharge" we pay for every barrel of oil. ------ Yeah, those Republican CONSERVATIVES really have it figured out!
