  • I support legal immigration with my whole heart. I am an immigrant myself and I follwed the law to become one.I love every moment of the opportunity here and I respect the fact that I earned my opportunities legally. Yeah, it took me a long time to go through the process. I don't see why someone can come here illegally and get the opportunities free. I didn't. I can't support the law breakers (the illegal immigrants) with my hard working money and give my voice to say, 'it's ok, come here and make me look like one of you in other's eyes'. This would be like supporting a murderer for breaking the law and live in the society for free. Wouldn't it? Can you imagine, a person kills someone robbing a store and we forgive him/her for his/her situation for going to to rob and kill someone? Breaking a law should never be discussed for forgiveness. Then we really need to take off all the laws - not just the immigration law, right?

I am very proud of this country (now my country) and I stand for the legal immigration, not for illegal immigrants.

Oh, one thing I don't understand from all these street walks and demand for legalization and citizenship by these illegal immigrants that has happened in the last couple of years here. If these illegal immigrants are so badly treated here and underpaid, don't they should find another country that would treat them better for being illegally coming to the country? It is obvious that we are not treating them any better than their own countries. If they came here legally, there claims for being treated so badly would have had a chance for getting their situation improved through laws. I think, they should go back to their countries where they are legal and do these street walks and demand their government to make their situation better. To me it is like, I am going to go to my neighbor's house next door at dinner time and demand their food on the table for me, simply because I live in the community and I can efford meat but can't efford the good steak! Not right at all. Can you imagine you have an unknown visitor come in to your house without any invitation and start living in your bedroom? I don't think you will give up your room. Illegal immigration is just like that- coming here without the legal process and filling up lot of our spaces. And we are just being nice for a long time- allowing it. I think they created the situation where legal immigrants are most time are mistaken to be illegals and most times, employers assume legals are illegals and they offer low pay for a highly skilled job. Very sad!!! I am an electrical engineer and I was contacted many times by many employers for a high pay job , only I was offered half the pay. Not only that, some even mentioned they would sponser me for the H-1 status here. Well, I didn't need that at all because I am already a citizen. But I was shocked that they already assumed I was not legal because my name stood out as not so americanazied.
So , I am purely for legal immigrants, and completely against illegal immigrants!

  • It's quite refreshing to see enlightened indigenous people of this isle actually come out and give positive repertoire to the on going immigration conundrum that seem to engulf the psyche of this nation. We all need to distance from the chaotic and promote the utopia that could be reality.
