Genocide by neglect: our response to poverty

Reframing the discussion about poverty to include all of humanity is essential. Our response here in the United States tends to be very ethnocentric and, frankly, racist. The last time I checked, distance does not determine who is and who is not your brother or sister.

  • I agree with the man who is discussing the issue of the genocide by neglect. I think that every child has a right to live a good life. We should help all the children in not only the U.S but the world. Children should not have to live a life being sick because there parents have neglected them or can not provide for them. What I think we should give a few cents a day so that we can help these children nationally live a better and sick free life.
