When the list is long enough, it will be sent to leaders on both sides of the strike. The objective is to show both sides the damage that the strike is doing to the economy and to the below-the-line members of young Hollywood.
Anyone that has lost their job due to the strike can email getbackinthatroom@yahoo.com with their name, former position, and former employer.

Like a free yahoo account adds any sort of legitimacy to their efforts. Who will guarantee these unemployed folks that their info will be kept confidential and away from prying industry eyes??

That's a great point and I totally agree that it's not a confidential list. Their point is to put a face to the people getting hurt by the strike, not take sides. They just want both sides to get back to negotiating and work on bringing about a resolution.
