While listening to the former vice president discuss climate change in the backyard of a Los Angeles estate on a chilly Friday night, Advocate deputy editor Rachel Dowd suddenly realizes why the world is better off without Al Gore as president of the United States.

Right on, right on. That's what I'm talking about. I think that we are all better off with Al changing the world how he feels best. Great find Dave, I'll see you tomorrow (it's Wednesday here.)

Excellent. Yes, he is doing a great job where he is now. I had a dream about him being president but that dream is gone now. He has found his niche in this world and will, hopefully, get everyone to wake up and solve this climate crisis. He has become his own man instead of part of the political machine. He is so inspiring when he talks!

If only he would be allowed to present on and vote on bills that make laws we would be all set!

Yes, Al is definately in his "zone" now, but trying to change the laws to support clean energy will not be easy without him in the administration. I wish there were 3 or 4 Al Gores! God Bless him.

You're all morons. Al sold out. He has a private jet, huge income.....The president of the US is the most powerfull person in the world. What will happen if the republicans win? More of the same for 4 to 8 years. Al could have swept the race, then possessed the greatest power to make change. Will there ever be another Al Gore? Well, maybe Al was wrong after all.
