My friend Sid's twin Tesla coilsI have this rather eccentric self-aught electronics genius friend named Sid Kling who when I first met him was busy building a giant Tesla coil in his Hollywood apartment. That was his first coil, about 8' tall.
Well, from that first (relatively) little lightning machine that we used to fire on the deck of our other friend Phil's house, to the two giant twin coils Phil (who is a concert promoter) ultimately commissioned him to build for the Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival, he's certainly come a long way.-
