Wondering why autumn's riot of red, yellow and orange came late this year? It's not actually rising temperatures that are causing the shift in the color shift, but the rising levels of carbon dioxide.

Co2 reduces through Global No Drive Day!You are so correct, I have noticed the same and in fact I have enjoyed the loing drawn out Autumn here in the Uk, normally it only lasts about a few weeks. Help support me to spread the message of Global No Drive Day! Thanks for your ongoing support for future generations of this planet!

yes! CO2 is also far less flamable than oxygen! maybe if we get enough in the air, there'd be no forest fires! oh wait a sec....there'd be far less people.

Noticed it here in NJ. Some have not even turned yet.

WOW. I hadn't even thought about that until now. I'm in Texas and the trees are still green.

Even here in Switzerland, most of the trees still have most of their leaves, some are still green, and the yellows are not as bright as they usually are... and we're halfway through November already. Having lived most of my life in the country and being very observant, I have noticed slow but distinct changes in nature, especially following Tchernobyl. And I have long noticed - and sounded the alarm - that winters were growing milder every year. There's a whole generation of young people in Geneva who don't know what snow in town really is, since it hasn't happened for over twenty years. And in my childhood, I have skated on the lake and on the lakeside. This seems inconceivable to those of forty and younger.

Autumn, the most photogenic of colour photography subjectsIt has always been one of my favourite photo subjects, and I have taken a great many photos of the colour changes of leaves. This one dates from 2000 or 2001.

Fall Blooms?!I took this picture in late October (note the brown leaves in the background) this year at my mom's house. These flowers normally bloom in spring.
