A NYC-based company has just launched a Frida Kahlo (R) skin care line. Though Kahlo (R) founder Antonio Sciortino claims that Frida was "very much into aromatherapy herself -- mixing and creating her own makeup and lotions," her stance on eyebrow plucking makes her a bit of an odd choice for a mainstream beauty line.

She seemed like she was a cool a** lady, but beauty products I don't think she would have wanted, and I dunno how well that woud sell. I agree, it's kinda wrong.

Ok ok I have a thought maybe its all about making money...and not at all about Frida!...Cosmetics? Beauty line??? I dont think so!

frida was the epitome of unconventional beauty. i can't see how manufacturing a line to standardize beauty supports that.

I think this is koolio and not koolio @ the same time I mean Frida was an amazing lady who did alot of kool art but that stuff just don't seem like her
