Hey hey, that's a very harsh punishment she's received. The Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo's wife drove on a suspended license for apparently 9 years for driving without insurance, wrecked a city vehicle she was driving illegally - and without insurance, stiffed the city on the bill and ignored a 9 year long warrant for her arrest because she choose to ignore a court order. She also didn't pay taxes on her as much as six figure home business nor did she have a business license - all punishable offenses.
As for the "Rocky Horror" show as many have come to refer to him, apparently the head City Attorney also drove without a valid drivers license and insurance - also a punishable offense, but the scofflaw couple, in the eyes of the law are fully rehabilitated since they said sorry - after their transgressions against law and law abiding citizens was exposed.
BUT she seems to have been reformed of her scofflaw and antisocial ways when she apologized.
So, Lindsay got the book thrown at her, damn! Tough break kid.
LA City Attorney's right, he's not gonna have a two tiered legal system in Los Angeles, no way man!! He's gonna have a three tiered legal system so as not to leave he and his wife out of the benefits.
Nothing like having the Fox watching the hen house for all those corrupt people in good ol' LA.

i think that celebrities deserve the time in jail that they are required.
they are just like us . money or no money people need to pay for their crimes!
If more and more people start to see that celebrities are getting away with drugs and other ofenses people with not as much money will start complaining bout how they did the same crime but had to do more time...
famous people should NOT get special treatmen! -
Yes hugatree6, but what about when prosecutor's break laws or their family, and don't have to pay for their crimes because they have someone protecting them on the inside from their misdeeds?
Does it say everyone else is being persecuted in excess or that these people are somehow above the laws?
