In the UK 88% of household rubbish is disposed of in landfill, increasing the pressure on landfill sites and releasing dangerous gasses into the air. We all realise there is a growing problem but nobody likes to admit that their rubbish is contributing to the problem.

We made this film using a style and genre that was different from the usual 'message film'. We think our film would appeal to the younger generation - encouraging them to open their eyes, see the impact their actions have on their immediate world and take action to change.

Each rubbish bag that featured in this ad was sorted and recycled after filming... we practice what we preach :-)

  • It drives me nuts when we delegate the responsibility of cleaning the planet to the young. While it is true that they are ultimately going to have to deal with this problem, there is no reason why we shouldn't start now with the generations that are responsible for this mess. Why should our kids have to deal with this mess alone? Let's take action NOW!!!!!! And have a happy turkey day.

  • Ban the bags and save the planet
More people should be going 'bag free'. Wildlife documentary maker Rebecca Hosking led the campaign to ban plastic bags in Modbury, Devon and went on to win an award at this year's British Environment and Media Awards. Nice to see her hard work is being recognised.
