I've been meaning to start a topic page for a long time for all the Bad Advice you can find on the Internet. I haven't found just the right piece, though, until right now. Featured on Yahoo's homepage is this article, "Is She Attracted to Me?"
These are some of the most ridiculous bits of dating advice I've ever seen. A woman is into you if:
* She will not look at her watch.
* She will not look around the room.
* She will be totally fixated on you the whole time.
* She will play with her hair and lick her lips before she moves towards you, because she is creating a sexual feeling inside her.
* She will reach her hand across the table and glance at yours.
* She will touch your shoulder or another part of you very casually.
* When she is speaking, she will touch her leg or her face, imagining it was you who was touching her.
How embarrassing!

Wow, thats the worst pile of crap I've read in a while...
On the contrary...
*I don't own a watch.
*A.D.D makes me look around the room even if I do like someone.
*I'm not a creep so I wouldn't be staring at someone forever.
*.... the next one is just too ridiculous to even BEGIN to contradict...
*Oh yes... because looking at someones hands is really a hint that they like you...
*If someone touches you casually then it's simply just that.
*What type of women is this advice based on? They type that hasn't gotten any in a while...?-

I don't know. I agree with some of it. I am a big believer in the touching the hair/face thing, though I don't think about it as "before she moves towards you." My days as a poker player and chasing girls around the town tell me that in both instances someone touching their hair or face is generally an indicator for nervousness. With girls it's always a good sign if she's a little nervous around you.
