I think that if someone wants to peacefully contribute to our society, we should let them.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT BOARDERS WHEN YOU WANDER AROUND THE COUNTRY HOMELESS LIKE THIS GUY. HE PRAISES THEIR WORKING WAYS THEN ASSOCIATES THEM WITH CLEANING TOILETS. TYPICAL LIBERAL. AND NO CONSERVATIVES ARE NOT AGAINST IMMIGRANTS, THEY ARE AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. BIG DIFFERENCE!
-
I agree with Neimah, History in full circle of do as we said , and hide what we do. This country was founded by immagrants , and as far as ILLEGAL IMMIgration goes, how many Native Americans had a choice ? How much suffering we have caused from establishing a society that picks and chooses "hot toppics" for political gain, I say to be fare and less overzealouse politicians should fight in a thunderdome hosted on fox , where u can txt to pick who fights whom.2 men enter one man leave. When in doubt and need a carpooler on your conservative bandwagon then build more fences .

I also dream of a world with NO borders. . . . what a big utopia!!!

Quit frankly you live in a magical fantasy land. We have borders for a reason! Ever heard of security, the economy, and health. You obviously didn't think this out at all, therefor I'm going to try not to be so hard on you. The first point i would like to make is your whole reasoning on Mexican workers. Essentially you are in support of slavery. Tell me if i'm wrong but, having Mexicans "cut my grass" and "clean toilets" for below minimum wage sounds a god damn like slavery! The real point is, they are illegally here. They went against are immigration laws and just walked right in. What about the immigrants that had the decency to legally get admitted? Its easy now to think, well they aren't hurting us, they are helping us. Well what happens with immigration gets out of control? Eventually no jobs will be available! Then that seemingly unintelligent, white people smoking pot stereotype might actually turn out to be a reality! I hope i live for the day when a Mexican takes your job, the first thing i will do is slap this video in your face and simply say "I told you so." Good day sir, BDR

you are completely in the right:
americans have little or no interest in manual labor mostly because of our own delusions of what 'a real job' is. So, when i see americans flocking to build houses and bus tables, then we'll have something to talk about. -
Property is robbery!
I agree! The only reason there are borders is for the people in control to know what people they can have under them.
Borders and capitalism go hand in hand. People wanted to get what the could when there was still Earth to discover, now that we know every square inch of this planet I don't see why certain people should only be allowed on one piece of land and not another.
All the while people are dying because people set all these boundaries and limitations based on what?
Who fought for what land.
If it's all ours then whats the problem? We're a part of a global system, whether the dollar differences with admit it or not.
There's no us and them- there's nothing separating us except imaginary lines and prejudices. We're animals too.
The whole system we have if the most screwed up thing I could imagine.
Capitalism is based on the fear of not having, but if nothing belongs to anyone then everything is everyones.
Humans used to live like this, some still try to. It's still possible to have small communities and collectives. As long as we stop covering the Earth in cement and deforesting to the point where the Earth cannot repair itself. We've put ourselves on these stilts of technology and superiority, but we didn't put back into the Earth what we took out so now its sick and it's getting to the point where we're all doom and we built too much up on our stilts and we're wobbling and falling over. I don't understand why people don't see it.
We need to stop trying to organize the earth and the things on it and just live.-

ILiveonaClock, come on. "if nothing belongs to anyone then everything is everyones". the 1960's are over and anarchism will not work. this naive assumption that somehow the need for borders and territories just materialized in the last 50 years has somehow gotten into your head. for all of history, mankind has used borders. since the beginning of time, groups have held and protected territory. whether they were neanderthal hunter gatherers securing the best hunting grounds and access to water or the people of Kosovo declaring their independence just last week, people desire to become their own nation and celebrate their unique cultural, social, religious and historical identity. look anywhere around the globe and you'll find interesting, dynamic, and ancient cultures who are completely unique and independant. these cultures, our culture, all cultures, need to have borders. you're right, we're animals too, and animals do the same thing. watch an episode of "Meercat Manor" and you'll see them struggle to preserve and protect their own seperate territories. many species of animals seperate themselves into bordered regions. I believe that cultures who are seperate and use borders can still interact however, just like you talk about. the whole world should be free to trade, travel, converse, exchange ideas, make friends, and start relationships. but we can still value our cultural uniqueness. we can talk about the Roman ruins and pasta in Italy, wine and fashion in France, wild animals and drum circles in Kenya. and Capitalism is not based on fear, its based on individual rights, responsibility and freedom. the right to start your own business and become successful and the right to tell the government to fuck off and mind its own business. capitalism is you working hard to accomplish whatever goal or dream you want to pursue. you also talk about environmentalism...what do borders have to do with the environment? your answer just sounds like a big complaint with no solutions to problems, to be honest. you also sound like a hippie. which, by the way, capitalism has given you the right to be.

Actually I have no misconceptions about borders appearing in the last fifty years. but the borders you're talking about that have been around "for all of history" are HUGELY different from those now. I can understand wanting to secure the best resources, and you can argue that we're all doing this now, but if thats true than are we just alienating ourselves from eachother? Are we sitting on our plots of land with all our stuff snarling at our neighbors? Is that the culmination of evolution, because it doesn't sound that great to me. The borders we have now are covered in legal gobeltygook and are only helping to enforce nationalism and assholeism in my opinion. Dividing the human race by where you were born. Humans have been nomadic for longer than anyone has even thought about borders. We are now globalized, and all the wealth and capital is getting further and further dived into growing anomie. I dispute that cultures need borders. An invisible line doesn't create a unique society, the people inside it do. Different areas will always have different cultures and thats what makes me love the dynamic nature of humans. We don't need borders to have personalities. and as for your arguement against "if nothing belongs to anyone then everything is everyones"- I know it's not the 1960's(which doesn't really make sense... so a line of thinking can only be valid for a decade? Take my ideas on their own, don't let connotations muddle meaning) and that anarchism will not work FOR EVERYONE(nessesarily). And I would argue that anarchism is way more centered on "individual rights, responsibility and freedom." You don't have the mock parental system of government to retard the expansion of those things. Anarchism is doing it for yourself and taking responsibility for you and helping people out when they need it. Capitalism is grabbing what you can and competing. Competing for what? EARNING a living? I'm sorry, but I believe people earned to live by being born. What's the ultimate prize at the end of the rainbow of captailism? I don't know what a hippie is, but I'm human, and capitalism doesn't give me that right. Neither does Leninism (which I assume you mean as the alternative of capitalism and that you would call it communism, which it is not. We haven't seen communism executed as Marx put it, and even his views are flawed in my opinion). I don't believe any system 'gives' anyone rights, they may try to preserve them, but unalienable rights don't dissappear if capitalism dissappears. And as for all complaints- I suggested in my first response the use of smaller collectives and communities, which I believe in. And I don't mean communes by communities, those can be just as alienating as borders. I just think the borders are out of hand and that governments torturing people and their families for crossing a line and trying to make a better life is wrong. I guess I'm crazy.

Not everyone is peaceful , just like not everyone can express the thoughts and comments without using profanity to prove ignorance is bliss; but just as well in America we are made up of different viewpoints and no one's viewpoints are any more or less as important as others. The reason not everyone is peaceful is because every day we are forced fed with fear in what they call news, I call it another intermission till I need to see ads on medication I dont need, and all other products . When u put walls up people always find a way over obstacles, its in are human nature, I am not just talking fences and concrete walls. Think for a moment, look at revolutions, look at movements towards independence, look at everything in just are own history that gives all us privileged the right to point fingers like children . I would like to hear more responses by people living close to borders, some of my best friends came form Mexico, some came in the wrong way, while others learned from there mistakes, and took the road a majority in Mexico make with work and student visas . Are media makes it look like there are huge slip and slides people are coming in from, but if u ever took any statistics class in High school or college, then u know it can go either way. How many people have Jaliscos style Mexican restaurants in there city ? Do u know what Jalisco means? Walk in and ask someone . Or just send me a message I would be happy to tell you.
