On this, the 44th anniversary of his murder I still mourn for what may have been, but his words still give me hope for what we can still make happen. Not too long ago I got a chance to go to Arlington and stand in front of the eternal flame and it was an experience I will never forget. Our generation today has a chance to make the legacy of JFK a reality. I truly do hope that comes to pass in my lifetime. Rest in peace, JFK. I will never forget you.

JFK Museum GuestbookThe Texas School Book Depository, where the bullet that killed Kennedy was shot, is now a museum. In the 1980's they set up a guestbook in the lobby that has since recorded the names and thoughts of over 100,000 people. There's a nice collection of excerpts.
"John F. Kennedy, you are the one cool person and I respect you." -
Perhaps we will learn the truth one day. I don't believe the official story. Never have, never will.

I have never believed the "official" version and all the efforts made to substantiate it.
So true it is CosmoPlavix, so true. I might change it ever so slightly to say; "If a free society cannot save the many who are poor, it will NOT save the few who are rich."-

"If a free society cannot save the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich."
So true and relevant. He spoke so much truth in this speech and I bet his enemies right in this country were squirming in their seats. My favorite quote was that we should never negotiate out of fear, but never fear to negotiate. I suspect there were elements in this government and others that found those words as a total antithesis to their own plans... I mean, how unthinkable to speak of PEACE, and ending nuclear proliferation. Hence, we as a nation had to suffer more tragedy with the loss of his brother and his son. I also read he was ready to tell the American people what really runs this country, so of course, TPTB couldn't have that. I don't care what the "Warren Commission" said, Oswald did not work alone and I believe he was used to cover up those who have gotten away with a heinous crime against not only this country, but this world. I still hope justice will one day catch up to them. I continue to mourn his passing. And my dad (God rest his soul) who would be considered somewhat conservative by standards today also loved him, but he couldn't stand Johnson. I'll never forget that, nor watching the caisson go by as JFK was being buried as his beautiful son saluted him.... my mom broke down right then and hugged me (I was only five)... I now know she felt then how I feel regarding my son now and the world he will live in, and I intend to do right by her too.-

John F. Kennedy was going to pull us out of Vietnan, he issued the Silver Certificate to get us out of the grips of the evil Federal Reserves strangle hold on the US economy.
These two things alone were reason enough for Hoover to have him murder.
JFK had no intention to serve a serve a secret agenda, but truly believed in the American experiment and what it stood for.
Remember about Johnson, his first words as President were (I"ll paraphrase; I re-affirm my support of J. Edgar Hoover.-

The Zapruder FilmNo shots from the grassy knoll or anywhere else? I say this proves otherwise. Warning though, around frame 315 you see what i believe to be the shot that hits the right side of his head and it may not be suitable for all to watch.
