Heathrow is expanding - with a third runway proposed and plans for a
sixth terminal also in consideration, is the government going back on
its promise to tackle climate change? Green protesters are hopping
mad, local residents are red faced and members of the British public
are left wondering which way to turn in the great climate debate.

  • In 50 years time there are plans in place to have really low emissions Jet fuel. Sir Richard of Bransonshire is working on such a project but has run into a few minor problems.

    Low emission fuel seems to freeze into a solid block of ice at high altitudes. Bit of an issue for trans-Atlantic flights really...

  • well looks like big business and the social elite still run the show... so much for democracy and making the enviroment the top priority. I am sick of the government saying one thing then doing the other....they may as well fit out their offices with non sustainable timber....oh wait a minute I think they already did that!
