In all of the tragedy of this environmental disaster and the loss, we see what cooperation and communication can do to save lives. Those at Louisiana State University know the potential of surges after experiencing Hurricane Katrina. To now use that knowledge to save lives in other parts of the world is truly uplifting to me.
