Bargain hunters flocked to malls and shopping centres the width and breadth of the country in a hope to beat the crowds and secure as many knock-down goods as possible in the run up to Xmas. Originally named 'Black Friday' it is the time when businesses manage to get out of the 'red' and begin to see a return on their yearly takings. With this year's 'Black Friday' falling on the third week of November retailers will no doubt see a healthy return on 2007's profits.
