Now, I hate to poke a pin in any hope-balloons coming out of Iraq, but I have to say reports last week about a significant number of Iraqi refugees returning to their homeland *did* strike me as odd.

The numbers weren't helped by the fact that this story in my hometown local paper was printed side-by-side with a story about "new attacks shattering Baghdad's calm"
