If your on public airwaves, how much privacy do you really expect?
-
Is felkhound unopposed to government censorship of the internet?
-
The airwaves may be public, but the services for which we pay in order to access those waves are private. There should be some level of consumer protection afforded to Americans.
But if the airwaves are truly public, then why can't I listen to anyone's phone conversation that I want to? I am a tax payer after all. I think I'd like to listen to all of George Bush's phone calls today. Think you can arrange that for me?
BTW: For those who do not know, that symbol next to felkound's comment is the symbol for a Cryptological Technician in the U.S. Navy. The person who's job it is to do the VERY monitoring that we're discussing. Judging by the fact that I still have 100% approval for this video, I'd say that he's either undecided or against the monitoring.

Great video and your experience gives a lot of weight to your opinion. It is the very reason I watched your video. You have seen what can been done and others have personally experienced the effects of "Eavesdropping" by our government.
The statement by another respondent, "I have nothing to hide so let them search." is someone who wants nothing to do with reality. It is lackadaisical to think participation in a Democracy should be that simple. Think of how many people have suffered in this world, because of someone fearing a group of people.
Benjamin Franklin said it best; "Those who would give up their essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."Thank you for taking the time to share knowledge and experience via your pod cast.

Rodger that! I had fun doing it, though looking at it now I wish I had spent a little more time on aesthetics. Oh well, it's not like I gave away any secrets --- you can find all that stuff easily enough if you look for it. As with anything, the really scary things are the ones that I don't know about.

This was very insightful, Squid. Thank you. I tend to be a bit of a conspiracy theorist at times, it was nice to hear the facts from an individual who actually knows what they're talking about, as opposed to some pundit or talking head in the mainstream media. Cheers friend.
