Is social networking more "important" than TV?

I would agree...when you think about the amount of time NOWADAYS spent online, checking email, texting, going on myspace, youtube, facebook, etc. compared to what it was just a couple of years ago; it's practically doubled.
I know personally, I find the social networking and media stuff to be a HUGE part of my life; from keeping in touch with people, promoting the things I do, finding out whats up in the world...I only watch TV now for the shows that have nothing to do with real life. News isn't even news anymore...and why watch it when I can watch Project Runway or Ugly Betty or something!!???-
