Lichtfaktor, a group of German conceptual artists, create and manipulate light using long exposers and stop motion photography. Their work has been used in advertisements for Playstation and Current TV amongst many others.

While I think that LF's stuff is dope, can someone please tell me how this is graffiti?

I heard of this originally through these guys who make beautifully intricate works that correspond with their environment.
It's just such an incredible idea. -
Dalan - they're still markings to convey a message, they're just in a different medium and they're fleeting instead of permanent.

i think the style of font possibly, who knows, graffiti is the last form of true expression in my opinion, honest..

richjm - I completely agree that they are fleeting markings that convey a message, but is that "graffiti?" In my opinion, it's not. It's maybe got it's roots in a graffiti style, but it's something different. Still art, but not graffiti.

Dalan - how would you define graffiti? It's a tricky one. I'd always have said 'naughty scrawlings on a wall' but maybe that's too limiting.
