They left with an early Christmas bonus check, and no guarantee they would be back when the strike was over, just a "If your services are needed, we will contact you.
That blows. Well at least they got the bonuses.

why should jay have to compensate anyone. this has nothing to do with him.
conan is a wga member....( I don't think Jay is? )
It makes way more sense for the wealthiest wga strikers to help out the strike victims...who probably won't gain anything when its over except for a heavier workload and more office space to expand their cubicles...like jay -
If the corporations are going to end up losing
the strike anyway; they've already made a big enough effort to show their stockholders they
aren't pushovers. They should settle with the
Guild and get the laughs and shows going again.
