Nick updates us on the Journey of the Run II, and gives new thoughts and emotions about the upcoming run where he will run from Cusco to the Inca Ruins in Peru, South America over the course of 3 days for the duration of 54 miles at altitudes over 12,000 feet in the Andes Mountains. Running from Cusco to Macchu Picchu, is a good way to circumvent the hustle the government has, which makes those ruins inaccessible by anything but train or foot.

Say, another ultra-runner in Chicago! I too live on the lakefront and always encounter the problem of training at sea level while planning to run at altitude.
Also, I've run an ultra in Mexico.
