'Muslim Boarders' is a short documentary that shatters stereotypes by portraying an interesting fusion of Western culture and the Islamic world. The Muslim snowboarders who are featured strive to maintain a balance between American youth culture and their Islamic identity. This is an important observation of what growing up in America is like for a group who finds themselves both inside and outside of the dominant culture.

  • I love this pod. A nice surprise in the tones of pods found in the new current.com

    I love how culture and tradition can survive and/or translate into other cultures or subcultures. I love the idea of survival I am an optimist that hopes that one can survive upon what s being imposed to you.
    This is perhaps the best pod I see in the new current TV.
