Years after Hurricane Katrina... the raw reality is shocking... Americas Hurricane Katrina survivors still face devastating challenges in the battle to reclaim their lives after this natural disaster. Watch as societal poverty and privilege issues are addressed and examined by the people who were there before, during, and long after the storm. In this documentary, citizens of the greater New Orleans area, as well as visiting volunteers express overwhelming emotions while witnessing the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The destruction is vivid...the pain is heavy...the people are abandoned.
