Knowledge. That's the cause now. So let's say, just for argument's sake, that this new policy of smoking out knowledge is for real and not just the administration's political escape pod after the NIE proved the hawks to be full of hawky shit. The foreign policy of the United States, therefore, will be to threaten war against any nation that has the knowledge to build a nuclear bomb regardless of intent, materials or an actual, you know, nuclear weapons program.

  • After what happened Iraq, I hope no one is naive enough to think that Bush will be deterred by having information that doesn't agree with his plans.
    His little group of cronies are experts at manipulating the truth in such a way that will somehow turn out to support his policies.
    Frankly, I don't think George Bush gives a damn what the information says. If he wants to go out leaving this country in the middle of a war on a third front (the first being Iraq, the second being Afghanistan) he most certainly will.

  • Our future president Hillary voted to go in to Iraq,and admits to not having read the intelligence briefs prior to voting. She also says she would entertain the thought of invading Iran. Do you think we should have invaded Afghanistan or should we have turned the other cheek?

  • Afghanistan was a valid issue, Iraq and Iran no. I don't agree with Hillary on these issues which is why I can't support her candidacy. Her nomination is yet to be seen though.

  • Hillary is a Republican in sheeps clothing and if you don't believe it take a look at the list of her financial supporters.
    She wants to be a part of the power elite, not take it down.
    In any case, Bush is a scary fellow. We and our children, and very likely our grandchildren will be unraveling his hand made disaster in the Middle East for a long time to come.

  • Looking back we should have installed a new strongman/dictator that is more sensitive to human rights.muslim woman are also our sisters and deserve to be treated with the same respect as their male counterparts. With the same chance of education and liberation as anyone else.A woman should not be sentenced to a gang rape, which does and has occurred in some islamic countries.A woman should not be forced to cover herself from head to toe and be beaten like a dog for showing a little ankle. please! I suppose We can't right every wrong in the world,though.Maybe some cultures just are not ready for a democrasy.Furyious you are obviously a smart woman and not easily fooled.Unfortunatley many woman of the world will never get that opportunity at the hands of the Taliban. peace
