Paul Craig Roberts, a Republican who worked in the Reagan administration, is predicting a 9-11 type of attack before the 2008 elections. If that occurs, Bush can declare martial law and begin arresting those who disagree with his foreign policy (based on Executive Orders recently issued by the Bush Administration that grant the president these powers and more.) Wild stuff.
Paul Craig Roberts is an economist and a nationally syndicated columnist for Creators Syndicate. He served as an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration earning fame as the "Father of Reaganomics".
He is a former editor and columnist for the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Scripps Howard News Service. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. He was a post-graduate at the University of California, Berkeley, and Oxford University where he was a member of Merton College.
In 1992 he received the Warren Brookes Award for Excellence in Journalism. In 1993 the Forbes Media Guide ranked him as one of the top seven journalists in the United States.

That is why his private army is well equipped and well funded and the US military is not. I don't believe the military leaders will go after us. Not so Blackwater, I believe our military is going to be kept in Iraq and the others will return first.

shh don't scare...

and if we as an online community have anything to complain about Bush's looming police state, we could be arrested, according to Senate Bill 1959 which has been passed by the house and probably going to pass through the Senate. Basically it criminalizes free speech, blogs, thoughts, books, etc. This is scary. Very very scary.

if that happens then its not too far fetched to think that bush was some how responsable for 911. becaus if what paul craig roberts wrote comes to pass then it all fits way too well to have not been pre planned. doncha think?

I'm down to go out as a patriot. I'll take all the bullets they have to protect the principles that this nation was founded on. I'm not even scared, you know why? Because if it does happen, then it will be the wake up call that we need. People need to CARE again about their rights, and the freedoms that they take for granted. Just let him try...APATHY NO MORE!!!

Where's our elected officials? Why isn't Rep. Pelosi moving the impeachment forward?
How about Diane Feinstein? Barbara Boxer? Sam Farr?
Why does the whole of Congress sit and do nothing? Is there something we should know they aren't telling us or what?
That's what I wonder.
Here's to you kid:

Guys, Don't just complain send in your twenty-five a month to the candidate you think will be able to bail us out of this mess. I personally think that is either Edwards or Kucinich. I know Edwards doesn't take corporate money, and forgive me for not knowing, but I don't think Kucinich does either. I do know Clinton and Obama take corporate money. Lots of corporate money. If you think the government should represent corporations hang onto your money if not support those that have the integrity not to be corporate whores. The time is now. Don't let the corporations buy the government again. We have less than a month to help our candidates win this race so get off your wallets. Give yourself the gift of Democracy instead of some useless toy for Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate.
