London's exclusive Movida Club have announced their Christmas cocktail, which will set discerning/foolish punters back a cool £35,000. Just to put that in context, its more than the average wage of three quarters of the UK population: worth it?

People with too much money have got too little creativity. If I could blow 35 grand on a cocktail I would get my thinking cap on and think,
"What shall I do that's cooler than being an idiot and buying a 35k cocktail?"
I'd buy a submarine, some ultra bright lights, a small crew and I'd go and find the Loch Ness Monster.
Once I'd done that I'd get my thinking cap on again and do something else that was cool.
Anyone got any ideas?-

The drink is described as warming and refreshing, but that is not the main reason for the exorbitant cost: at the bottom of the crystal glass is an 11-carat white diamond ring."
Three cheers for wretched holiday excess. They should donate the money. -
