Hatton had the weight of British sports fans on his shoulder after they lost the EURO Qualifiers a couple of weeks ago. For f*$@!s sake-- Britian needed you Ricky! It was still a great fight and Hatton was fierce in the face of an omnipotent opponent.

Fair play to him, he stepped up to the challenge, completely unphased by Mayweather and his OTT attitude, it takes balls to step into the ring with the World's best pound for pound boxer and to go 10 rounds you've got to be something quite special...
Hatton: "My pride is hurt more than the punches." -
It was a great fight and I'd bet there were a few moments when Mayweather actually was in new territory as a fighter: SCARED. With numerous rounds of fierce Hatton direct assaults and closeup sparing, Mayweather's punches maintained near legendary ACCURACY to find their target and take down a truly FEARLESS and capable competitor...
Just good stuff all around... -

As I predicted earlier, Mayweather won this fight with ease. To say that he was scared is totally insane. Why would he be scared when Hatton never really hit him. Ricky like other boxers fighting Floyd were punching a lot but not landing very many punches. Meanwhile Floyd, who had a longer reach took his time and continuously landed punch after punch to Hatton. This was a great fight and just another showing of dominance from the best fighter in the world.
