Tecnica of Giavera del Montello, Italy started making these futuristic winter boots in the early 1970's, trademarking the name "moon boot" in 1978. While these are the most official moon boots on the market, other brands have tried to bite the style that Tecnica has made so popular. My suggestion? Forget Uggs.
