Mars rover discovers signs of ancient life!

The rover dug up white colored silica sand this past May, which is a sign that geological activity was present there, that typically results in microbial life on Earth. The rover recently freed itself after being stuck in the dirt for 2 weeks.

    Here is a better explanation for those that would like it on exactly what it means when they said signs of "Microbial Life" have been found on Mars.

  • The headline of this is certainly misleading. The rover discovered possible evidence of a possible scenario that existed in the past. This scenario, when found on a completely different planet typically results in microbial life.

    I'm as interested in finding life on Mars as the next person, but shocking headlines aren't going to get us there faster.

  • thats really really cool sounding. i think instead of just looking around we should dig a really deep hole on mars. i think we would find some pretty cool things
