The CCTV building came together today in the final installment of the almost impossible architectural design. The two towers are joined -- an incredible feat in engineering that sets China a part from any other country.
The joining, which occurred at dawn today, had to be scheduled precisely for weather and temperature issues. Any slight change could cause the entire building to collapse during the joining process.
