LOL....that's SO true. first, i didn't even know ANTM was in its 9th cycle and second, u really never do hear from them again...i wonder why the show is still going.

this is really true. in a magazine they said what the past winners are doing now. and some (a lot) of them aren't even modeling. they go into acting or something else. i guess ANTM can be used to just get their name out there, like American Idol. but i really enjoy ANTM cause it allows everyday girls a chance to find themselves and because of the experience and Tyra's guiding had, they are able to experience true beauty on the outside and within.

I feel so terrible for Jasleen! Her big career seemed to involve doing a cover shoot for Latina Magazine, sitting in the parking lot of a baseball stadium hawking Cover Girl lip liner and....sitting inside a Wal-Mart hawking Cover Girl eyeliner! I'm sure she thought she'd be traveling around the world to exotic places and having fun. Staying overnight at a Super 8 only to go hang out at a Cover Girl booth inside a Wal-mart is NOT what Tyra was offering as a "prize." Tyra probably has that poor girl locked up in the basement of her mansion. "Oh Tyra!" cries Jasleen from the basement. "I haven't see daylight in 3 days!" Tyra's reply? "Model through it, girl!"

It's all for the show. It has amazing ratings. I know I refuse to turn away from the tv when it's on...even if I had seen that particular show 7 times.
If anything it encourages us all to just think a little harder when posing in that drunken bar picture :-)
