It pains me to see Chuck Knoblauch's name sullied with the likes of Adam Riggs, Cody McCay, and Armando Rios... I mean Hundley, Ismael Valdez, and Pettite's names were swirling around for years.
But the tragic tale of how Chuck Knoblauch's ended up here is a true tragedy which started when he threw an errant throw into the stands beaning Keith Olbermann's mother in the head.
And who could blame David Justice?
Who wouldn't load up on HGH after being dumped by Halle Berry?

one look at Knoblauch's overmuscled 285 lb frame and it was obvious...

I'm surprised by how shocked everyone is acting on this subject. This has been an issue for some time.

inside sources indicate that Otis Nixon was considered "too obvious" to be included in the report...

For the love of the game? Bunch of Crap!!! It proves that people will do what they need to do; to get paid, or break that record, or win that starting spot. I agree that it was a sad day for baseball.

The game will do what they need to do and look the direction they need to, to put fans in those seats and sell ad ops...
the yankee dynasty, mcgwire-sosa, all things that had taken credit for bringing fans back to the game, and integral to multiplying MLB's revenue from a decade ago by the sixfold, the league probably should take a chunk of the blame for putthing pressure on players into turning to the juice then...
of course knobbie and david justice are both on the hall of fame ballots this year.
it was nice of mitchell to put this together before some writers suddenly go the idea to give them votes into the hall...
