Two fifth-grade boys were suspended from school for one day after scrawling a "kill list" with their names and their friends' names on it.
Zach Elementary School Principal Kim Nohava said the students wrote the note Monday. A classmate told his parents, and Nohava was notified.
"The students that were involved in the incident were very honest and came forward," Nohava said. "I think they were a little surprised by the seriousness of this."

"Because both boys had no previous record or office referrals, the students were suspended for one day."
